Privacy
Telvick is built to collect as little as possible. As currently configured, the site sets no cookies, runs no advertising trackers, and loads no third-party scripts. If privacy-respecting analytics are enabled, they count visits without cookies or personal profiles. If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is stored by the newsletter provider solely to deliver it, and every issue includes an unsubscribe link.
Our analytics are first-party: they run on our own servers and share nothing with third parties. For each page view we record the page, where you came from (the referring site or a campaign tag in the link), an approximate location no finer than city as reported by our hosting provider, your device type and browser, how long the page was actively in use, how far you scrolled, and which links or buttons you clicked. We never store your IP address and set no analytics cookie. The anonymous visitor key we use changes every day, so visits cannot be linked across days or to your account. Your browser's Do Not Track setting turns analytics off entirely. Raw click data is deleted after 90 days, page-view data after about 13 months.
Placeholder notice: before public launch this page must be replaced with a complete policy reviewed for the publication's actual jurisdictions, providers, and legal obligations. This summary describes the technical behavior of the site; it is not legal advice or a compliance document.
